Jasen Baskett, founder of Emerald City Basketball Academy will be doing training on Mercer Island. This will be the only location he will be training at. If you want to be developed by one of the best trainers around please contact us. Coach Baskett has produced over 300 division 1 players. His accomplishments speak for themselves.
Location: Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club (the old club, not the Peak)
Time: 3:15-4:30
Days: Mon-Thurs
Price: $200 a month, 1 day a week
Players during workout: 6 players per workout. Coach Baskett's system is very different from most trainers. He focuses on live fundamentals, being able to succeed with defense being applied. Coach Baskett needs 6 players per workout to get players most ready for games.
Grades: 6th - 12th. Each class will be filled with players of similar grade. Once people sign up we will have to allow only players at similar grade level into particular days of the week.
Course Description: 15mins of Basketball speed, vertical, and strength training. 60mins of player development of : bio-shooting, 1 on 1 moves, ball handling, PG decision making, moving without the ball, post play, finishing tech and etc....

Las Vegas Recap
Congratulations to all the ECBA teams who went down to Las Vegas for the national tournaments this past week. We had 5 girls teams and 7 boys teams who participated. All the teams had a great experience playing at a high level. In the AAU West Coast National Championship tournament our 5th grade girls ECBA Express took first place, the 7th grade girls ECBA Swish also took first place, and the 8th grade ECBA Pioneers took 2nd!!! In the Center Stage tournament our 6th grade ECBA Hoopstars took first place, and in the Adidas Super 64 our top HS Pioneers made it to the final 4 in the gold division. Other ECBA teams that took the trip included 7th grade girls ECBA Swish, 9th grade girls ECBA Swish, 9th grade ECBA Pioneers, 10th grade ECBA Pioneers, 10th grade ECBA Elite, and 11th grade ECBA Force. Thanks to all the teams, players, coaches, and parents who helped make the trip happen!!!
