Emerald City Players in High School

Jordan Nichols (2009 Pioneer) is leading his league in scoring for second straight year. He scored a season high 40 vs. Arch Bishop.  

Ryan Gilkey 6'8''(2009 Pioneer) is in his senior year at Woodinville.  
He is averaging over 10ppg and leading in rebounds and blocks.  

Simi Fajemisin 6'9''(2010 Pioneer) is at Lynnwood HS.   Simi has been
solid all year. His season highs are 19 vs. Kamiak and 17 vs. Cascade.

Chris McGrath 6'1''(2010 Pioneers) is at Cascade HS avenging over 22 ppg.   He leads Wesco in scoring with Brett Kingma (2011 Pioneers) and Ryan Todd (2010) right behind him.

Brett Kingma 6'1''(2011 Pioneer) is a Jackson HS along with Ryan Todd. An unfortunate broken wrist put him out for the season.   In his 6 games played before his injury he was averaging 22.8 ppg.  

Dallas Smith 6'3''(2011 Pionner) is at Mt. Si averaging over 10 ppg.   His season high is 22 against University City San Diego.  

Alec Wilson 6'1''(2011 Pioneer) is at Kentwood making a huge impact as a sophomore. Along side the nations best junior Josh Smith, he looks to take Kentwood to State. He was recently in the Seattle Times for his game winning shot.

Mitch Penner 6'4''(2012 Pioneers) freshman is starting on Kennedy's varsity team as a freshman.   He had a 19 point game against Foster and 22 against Tyee.   He is averaging over 9 ppg.  

Michael Washington 6'4''(2012 Pioneer) freshman is starting on Oak Harbor's varsity team as a freshman.   He scored 23 in his HS debut against Glacier Peak and 26 against Coupeville.   He is averaging 17.4 ppg.

Junior Chibuogwu (2012 Pioneer) freshman is starting varsity at Shorecrest.   He is now 6'5''.   He dropped 17 versus Everett,16 versus Edmonds Woodway, and 13 versus Jackson.

Nick Price 6'1''(2012 Pioneer) is playing varsity at Issaquah.   He scored 9 against Bainbridge and was a key player in their 1 point victory.    He also went off   for 13 against Woodenville and 16 against Bothell.

Sammi Jarjour (2012 Pioneer) is playing varsity at Sammamish.   He was moved up from JV early in the season.   In their come back win against Hazen, he hit 2 big 3's in the 4 quarter which won the game.    In a spectacular come back win vs. Interlake HS, Sammi went off for 15 points in the 4 th quarter and was carried off the court.  

Alex Wegner 6'7'' (2011 Pioneer) sophomore is at Vashon Island HS helping his team in their amazing year. The team is undefeated in league play at 17-1 overall.

Mitch Penner 6’4’’(2012 Pioneers) freshman is starting onKennedy’s varsity team as a freshman. He had a 19 point game against Foster, 22 against Tyee and 25 against Mt. Rainier. He is averaging over 10 ppg.

Zack Johnson 6'4'' (2010 Pioneer) is a junior at Stanwood HS averaging just over 10ppg along with 6'3'' guard Kale Schmidt 13ppg, and Ryan Jamieson who are also juniors. The 3 are doing very well with a conference record of 12-2.

Anker Anderson is one of two freshmen that made the JV team at Archbishop Murphy HS. He is starting for his team and doing well.

Chris Garcia (2012 Pioneers), Freshman playing varsity with Kentridge HS.  He was moved up from JV averaging 8.6 ppg to play with the Varsity in the SPSL playoffs and West Central District. Chris helped his JV team in scoring, assists, steals and played great defense.

Eric Radford 6'4" Junior at Thomas Jefferson, a varsity player for 3 years, played solid all year in the tough SPSL--North.  His season high was 13 points against Kentridge. He shot 100% from the foul line for the season.
